‘Dust & Coal’ an original track from Natalie McCool’s debut album released early 2013 has been remixed by ‘Picture Book’ (see 3rd video to the left).
Picture Book are brothers Dario Darnell and Lorne Ashley, born in New York City and raised in Manchester, UK, inheriting a love of song writing and performing from their father August Darnell a.k.a Kid Creole from the legendary Kid Creole & The Coconuts.
Their first EP, At Last (released Jan 2012), was a collaboration with Grammy nominated vocalist Greta Svabo Bech (vocalist on Deadmau5′s ‘Raise Your Weapon’). Lead single ‘Sunshine’, which was produced by Hugo Leclercq, received an unprecedented response all around with specialist plays on Radio 1, XFM, MoS and Kiss as well as spawning a top 10 Hype Machine hit and featuring on iTunes ‘New and Noteworthy’.
